Stow-on-the-Wold is an historic market town found at the junction of 3 ancient roads. The old Roman road, the Fosse Way A429 the old Salt Way from Droitwich to London A 436 and an old trading route from the East Coast to Bristol.
It is easily reached via the M4, M5 or M40 serving Heathrow and Birmingham International Airports.
While also using M23, M25
Gatwick International is within easy reach.
There is a train station approx. 4 miles away at either Kingham or Moreton-in-March with a sheduled service from Paddington, London.
The Cotswold is designated an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty". The town is on one of the highest points in the Cotswolds. There are many interesting shops situated not only in the Square but also in the side lanes and courtyards. Stow is also known for the many antique shops and Art galleries, while on the 2nd Thursday every month there is a Farmers Market where you can find local produce and crafts. There are numerous tea shops where you can enjoy tea or coffee and homemade cakes while for an evening meal there is a varied choice of hotels,restaurants and pubs all within walking distance.
How to find us from the centre of Stow-on-the-Wold
Take the South East corner between Barclays Bank and Humberts Estate Agents
This Street is called Digbeth Street.
It is about 100 metres long with a "sleeping policeman" at each end.
As you cross the second one take the narrow lane immediately on your left.
This is Fox Lane and we are about halfway down.
